Camp Critters is a hands-on educational camp that is full of learning and fun. Kids will care for, observe and study the animal they choose for the week. They will become animal scientists who document behavior at various times of day. Guest speakers such as veterinarians and sanctuary founder come by for a visit.
Activities take place both indoor and outdoor. Two healthy snacks per day and water is provided daily for the young scientists.
Camp Critters was created through the research of Dr. Sarah Bexell, Research Associate Professor at the Institute of Human-Animal Connection / University of Denver.
