Tours at Zoology Foundation

Thank you for a great tour season! We will be closed for public tours for the winter season and will start tours back up again in the spring.

If you would still like to schedule a group tour or field trip in the winter months, please contact our program director, Maggie, at 303-951-8813 or by e-mail at

Also, please like us on Facebook and sign up for our e-mail list HERE to stay in touch with Zoology news and happenings.

Our mission is to improve the lives of animals through educational programming, rescue and by teaching the connectedness between animals and humans.

Come tour our sanctuary and learn all about our animal stories of how they got here, what they like to eat, what makes them happy and what makes them sad. Animals, like humans have feelings….our animals love the attention they get when the public comes to visit.

Public tours are available in groups up to 12 guests per time slot. If you have a smaller group, you may be touring with others for up to 12 per tour. Go to (link) to schedule your tour. Available dates change with the seasonal demands.

If you have a group larger than 12, please call and we can customize a tour for your needs. We can be reached at 303-991-8813.

We also offer group tours for schools, non-profits, seniors, basically any group over 12 people. All group tours are set up individually so please contact us at info@zoologyfoundation or call 303-951-8813 to set up your special group tour.

Our tours are generally two hours, and offer an interactive component with our animals. You will be introduced to the animals, hear their stories, and can even try to get Toogie the tortoise to dance! Be sure to wear close toed, flat shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. It could be muddy in some spots in the winter.

  • $20/adult (18-59)
  • $15/seniors (60+)
  • $12/child (3-17)
  • Free for 2 and under
