Hans Solo is so much braver than Chewbacca!
Our two camels Han Solo and Chewbacca have shown us that they are both becoming more accustomed to the trailer being an every-day part of their lives. Han Solo is the braver of the two and we’ve seen him fully in the trailer eating his hay. Chewie still is suspicious and reluctant but he too will go into the trailer but so far, only with his front feet – those hind feet of his remain solidly on the ramp.
Our biggest challenge now is that the spring grass has come in so they aren’t all that motivated to walk into the trailer for hay. Despite this seasonal setback, both camels have made great progress and we remain committed to the long-game for these two knowing literally, every step forward is progress.
