The end of October is always a bittersweet time at Zoology Foundation. Summer heat has finally passed, tree leaves are changing color and the outside animals are getting fuzzy! As we wrap up our 2024 tour season, we wanted to extend our gratitude to everyone who took the time to visit Zoology Foundation.
Our mission is to inspire positive connections between people, animals, and the environment through animal interactions and by providing sanctuary to animals. When people choose to tour ZoFo, they listen to the stories we have to tell about each and every individual animal here, they ask such wonderful questions, and experience awe for the gentlest touch from our camels as they accept the treats offered.
Andy, our tour guide said that some of his favorite moments from the season included when he was able to replace fear of our snake, Pretzel, with curiosity and admiration and watching as everyone enjoyed snuggling with Sid the Sheep (who just can’t get enough attention). And especially the times when the tour groups became more and more engaged as the tour progressed, asking thoughtful, inspired questions.
Every staff member and animal here a ZoFo appreciate your support and hope you visit again in 2025!
